What these figures do not include

A band is a share of the ranked list, so the count beside a tier can sit either side of it. Wallets level on works, series and date take the same rank, and on a short list one rank is a large slice of it.

How the ranking works

The order on the leaderboard, and what it deliberately leaves out.

What decides the order

Works held, most first
Tokens of this artist that the wallet holds now, counted from the snapshot. Editions of the same token count once.
Then series covered
Two wallets holding the same number of works are separated by how many different series they are spread across.
Then who was here first
Still level, the earlier first acquisition in the snapshot history ranks higher, so holding early and holding on counts for something.
Then the address, so the order never wanders
A last tie is broken by the address itself. It means nothing, and it means two identical snapshots always list the same order.

Wallets that are level on all of it take the same rank, and the next rank skips, so a list can read 1, 2, 2, 4.

What is not counted

Money. A sale settled in WETH or through a marketplace contract carries no value in the transaction, so this install cannot see most prices and does not rank on any of them.
Trading. Volume, flips and profit are not counted, in either direction.
Anything off the chain. No email, no sign-up, no social account and nothing said in a chat room.
The artist's own wallets and the zero address, which are left out of the ranking entirely.

What this install can and cannot see

How it is worked out

Holdings, transfers and mints are read from the artist’s own contracts and written to a file. The pages read that file, so every visitor sees the same list, dated.
Tiers are bands of the ranking. A tier with no band is never assigned automatically, and a tier written into the snapshot by hand is left as the artist set it.
Every figure is a count or a date. There is no price anywhere on these pages, because a sale settled in WETH or through a marketplace contract carries no value in the transaction itself.
Nothing here is private. An address, an ENS name and a transfer are public records; an email, a name and a sign-up are not, and none of them reach this page.

From the studio

Read from the chain: Holdings come from the contracts, refreshed when the studio takes a snapshot.
No points for trading: Ranking counts what is held and how long, not how often it changed hands.
Nothing is private: Only public on-chain facts are used. No email, no name, nothing you did not publish by holding.
